The spotlights are equipped with four-color LEDs with red, green, blue and white, but the white is a warm white. This gives the user the ability to create a good, pure warm white in addition to countless mixed colors. The CLS-9 is equipped with 9 high power LEDs, the CLS-18 with 18 LEDs. The small version is fanless, so it can be used in noise sensitive environments.

The power connection is made via P-Con sockets, which are available as input and output. So multiple spotlights can be easily connected in series. The DMX connections are 3-pin and 5-pin. In addition, there is a USB socket to equip the spotlight with radio DMX. For control, the spotlight offers 5 different DMX modes. With the help of a diffuser disk, the beam angle of the light can be extended from about 11° to about 18°.

An included bracket allows the operation in standing and hanging position. An optional bracket, specially designed for tripod mounting, is also available to allow the spotlight to be tilted far down. The CLS spotlights feature barn doors that provide good transport protection as well as help prevent side glare.
